COMMOM SENSE: SAN FRANCISCO

Our Coalition

In 2008, our Common Sense Coalition organized more than 50,000 San Franciscans to stand up to Proposition H - a costly public power plan that would have cost billions of dollars. Prop. H was resoundingly defeated by a wide margin, with more than 207,000 San Franciscans voting NO to giving the Board of Supervisors a blank check.

Now our Common Sense Coalition is standing up again to yet another government-run electricity plan: Community Choice Aggregation. CCA would allow city government to purchase and sell electric power and would enroll you as a customer unless you expressly opt out.

That’s why the Common Sense Coalition is helping San Franciscans learn more about CCA. Sign up for our coalition here so you can stay informed.
